Superb Revolving Desk Chair
A superb 19thC mahogany revolving desk chair. The shaped back with open arms terminating in carved dolphin heads. The seat having a deep moulded frieze and rotating on a ball bearing mechanism with a heavy turned bulbous column supported by 3 shaped legs with stylised dolphin heads and heavy duty castors. The whole upholstered in best quality hand dyed hide and brass studded detail. The Victorian castors possibly a later addition as this desk chair seat is quite high and could possibly have been used alongside a large bureau.
Sizes - Max height 40'' / 101.5cm. Width 26.5'' / 67cm. Depth 25'' / 63cm. Seat height with castors 26'' / 66cm - without castors 23.5'' / 59.5cm.
