Superb George 3rd silver vinaigrette. London 1813
SUPERB condition George III silver and silver gilt vinaigrette by Josiah Piercy I of London 1813. This is a superb Georgian example in first class condition. Beautifully chased and engraved on the outside with no initials in the centre panel.
The inside silver gilt lid is of stunning quality and it still retains its original sponge. Fully hallmarked on the base and the lid.
Perfect condition.
SIZE 1 3/4" by 1"
I also have an original receipt for this item from 21/10/1979 from J. H. BOURDON-SMITH Ltd of London who I think still are in business for £200 which was an awful lot of money in 1979
