Spectacular Victorian Brass Small Double Bed
This is a superb quality piece made in solid brass, with fine detail to the casting and magnificent design and craftsman ship, the bed was made by The Imperial Bedstead Company
The head of the bed has a exquisite brass headboard and 2 long posts on either side joined near the with an elaborate cross rail and topped off with heavy decorative brass knobs. This matches the more elaborate if lower foot end
The bed is in good and sound condition, with only very minor dings it is a timeless in design it will go very well in a Victorian designed bed room, this bed size is known as a small double ie. 4 ft wide, this is how it is shown in the pictures, however it is a heavy enough bed to take a 4ft6” base and mattress which will overhang slightly about 1.5” at either side it comes with a purpose made wooden base which ever size you require
The bed breaks down for transportation, it is 104” high at the top, the overall width is 51” it is 84” long and it is 19” from the floor to the under bed
