A magnificent quality roll top desk, featuring a traditional tambour top which opens up to display a fitted interior with numerous compartments. These compartments have sliding doors with fitted name plates, and feature two centre pull out pen holders, and four further drawers. This sits upon a traditional twin pedestal base, with graduated pull out drawers and oak slides. The desk is in outstanding condition for its age circa 1900, and still retains two original keys, and original waste paper bin which is designed to feature at the back of the foot well. The waste paper bin does have some wear and tear which is to be expected. This desk features matching panels to all sides, and the traditional modesty board to rear. We are supplying this desk with a solid oak desk chair, which is also in excellent condition. This is truly a spectacular piece of antique furniture for any home study or office. The desk will dismantle for ease of transportation and reassembly, and all locking mechanisms work to drawers and tambour front. Please note, the lap top featured is not included.
