A charming small antique Victorian drop leaf table with lacquered and gilt finish dating from circa 1890. A highly decorative and unusual piece of antique furniture this occasional table stands on 4 bobbin turned legs united by a turned stretcher with arched feet and 2 bobbin turned legs with brass casters that fold out to support drop leaves. With a faded green lacquered or japanned finish the top is intricately decorated with painted and gilt flowers, plants and insects. Would make a lovely lamp table or occasional table.
