A really magnificent unusually small antique Regency work table or side table in beautifully figured mahogany dating from circa 1820. It is of delightful proportions with a beautifully figured top and two drop leaves. This fine Regency Table has a single drawer to one side, and a dummy drawer on the opposite so it can be placed in the centre of a room if desired. The oak lined drawer has line inlay to the front and boasts a fancy brass knob, a brass lock and a diamond shaped escutcheon. It stands on finely turned legs capped with brass castors. In good condition, this piece would grace any room it could be used as a laptop table or would work equally well as a lamp table. Chair not included.

Solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age. In good condition, with beautiful colour and figuring. A small piece missing along hinged section of flap on one side.
