Fine quality little Edwardian inlaid mahogany settle or window seat c.1905. Just 38″ wide. With a carved, pierced and inlaid lyre shape detail at the centre and unusual scrolling arms. Slim tapering legs with a square spade foot. Solid mahogany frame with satinwood crossbanding and inlaid boxwood stringing. Backrest and seat in a woven silk damask. Old repair to one of the back legs. Otherwise very good condition with clean and serviceable covers.
