A charming small antique Victorian Gothic carved drop leaf oak table dating from circa 1890. A highly decorative piece of antique furniture this occasional table stands on 4 barley twist legs and has four turned stretchers with brass casters to the feet. It has four drop leaves which make it ideal as a card or games table. The top and flaps are all intricately carved with vine leaves and the drop leaves are supported by carved brackets with handles. In good condition, this is a quality piece and has Cope’s patent brass and ceramic castors which are often a feature of quality antique furniture of this period.
