In exceptional condition, this beautiful, silver fine mother of pearl knife is a delight! - Late Victorian with hallmarks for 1890, Birmingham and makers mark MB (Matthew Boulten). Measuring 2.7/8" inch long with nice clear hallmarks. There is a lot of detail along the inner edges and a shield shaped vacant cartouche. All the tiny silver pins are in good order and it opens and closes nicely, the only thing worthy of note is the end of the blade has a tiny (and I mean minute) bend that can be seen under an eye-glass I mention for accuracy.
