Silver Kiddush Cup Rosenzweig Taitelbaum & Co 1910

VA is delighted to offer for sale a fine quality Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver Kiddush Cup by the highly regarded firm of Judaica silversmiths Rosenzweig, Taitelbaum & Co.
The cup is a heavier gauge of silver and has an engraved palm leaf decoration on either side of a large vacant cartouche. The cup is of traditional form with nice crisp hallmarks to the base.
Silversmith: Rosenzweig, Taitelbaum & Co
Assay office: Birmingham
Year of manufacture: 1910
Weight: 39 grams
Height: 11 cm
Diameter: 5 cm
Condition report: In overall good condition with just some regular wear as is to be expected after virtually 100 years of use, there is a very minor dint and the base is ever so slightly misshapen and appears to have been reshaped to give it a rounder appearance, the cap has the usual surface scratches and minor tarnish marks.
A fine quality and highly usable Kiddush cup ideal for use on Shabbat or festivals, and a perfect addition to any fine silver or Judaica collection.
