Maker: John Yeomans Cowlishaw, Market Street, Sheffield.
The silver blade has surface marks associated with normal use and age and the point is very slightly misshapen.
The hallmark is clear and legible.
The mother of pearl handle is in very good condition with no cracks or losses.
Approximate dimensions: closed length 8.7cm, open length 14.8cm, weight 23 grams.
A fine example of a mid Victorian fruit knife.
