A wonderful late Edwardian pill box made from sterling silver marked 925 with an import mark for London 1909.

Made from a good heavy gauge of sterling silver, the sides of the box are beautifully decorated with engine turning. The hinged lid is smothered with a very pretty pale lilac guilloche enamel with a good glossy patina showcasing the further engine turned decoration below.

The lid fits well and once opened reveals a lavishly gilded interior and a further partial hallmark to the interior of the lid. Excellent condition, measuring 1 1/4" in diameter x 1/2" tall.
