Fine quality early 20th.c. Sheraton style mahogany sofa table c.1930. Solid mahogany top with the folding ends typical of the form, with an inlaid and crossbanded border and edge. Two oak lined drawers with flame mahogany fronts, also inlaid and crossbanded, with brass handles. Matching dummy drawer fronts to the rear. Raised on square column supports and swept legs raised on brass claw feet and castors. Joined with a high stretcher so the table could used as a writing desk. Maker’s label to the underside for Gillards of Altrincham. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
