Sheraton Revival Writing desk, inlaid mahogany

A very pretty inlaid mahogany Sheraton Revival writing table.
This has a most unusual sliding top that when pulled forward reveals a lifting letter rack. All in great condition with the original cabinet antique furniture and what seems to be the original leather. A few reassuring scuffs but not ripped or anything. The gold tooling is clear and of good detailing and the insides are clean. A lovely example with the inlays and the fretted back rail and the cross stretcher between the legs.
A rather nice piece of English furniture from the Edwardian period, not repeatable we suggest. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
We look forward to seeing you or hearing from you.
