Set six Mahogany inlaid Georgian dining chairs
These are a top quality set of dining chairs, four chairs and two carvers. The chairs are supreme quality and very showy. They are made in the Georgian manner but the condition is so good that I will air on the side of caution and say they were made in 1910 (Edwardian) rather than 1810 but they could well be Georgian.
The chairs are made in mahogany and have some of the best broad inlaid satin wood banding you will see. Look at the quality of the inlay, particularly down the arms of the carvers and the backs of all the chairs. These are beautiful period chairs.
The chairs have been reupholstered recently and the upholstery is clean and well padded and pleasing to the eye.
These are such an opulent set of chairs. Joints solid. No sign of damage. Minor signs of usage as you would expect. They will look good in a period Regency setting. Quality pieces ready top go straight in to your home.
The armchairs are 37 inches high at the back and the seat is 18 inches high and it is 21 inches wide from outside arm to outside arm.
