Fine set of six rosewood dining chairs c.1870. Shapely frames in beautifully figured solid rosewood of particularly good colour. Carved ‘crown’ backrests with a carved and pierced back stretcher. Freshly re-upholstered slate blue/grey seat pads with serpentine front edge, raised on slim cabriole front legs with carved detail. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
