Antique set of 6 Victorian rosewood dining chairs with balloon backs.

A great rare find, with an elegant design.

Solid and strong with no loose joints.

The upholstery is old with light wear and some minor marks (nothing bad or unsightly). Usable, but some would want to recover. Our upholsterer would recover the chairs in a customer's fabric and trim for £180 if requested.

46cmW x 52cmD x 85cmH (44cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. There are just a few historic extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. There are some historical structural repairs (iron straps added behind one chair back), but all is good and strong now.
