A splendid set of 6 mid-Victorian period dining chairs. Of fine construction in solid rosewood with a wonderful scrolling shape. The "balloon" backs are decorated with crisply carved detailing , which continues to the elegant cabriole legs. The upholstery, whilst not new, is in perfectly serviceable condition. This stylish and ornate set of chairs are offered for sale in excellent original condition, free from any breaks or repairs. The rosewood has a rich , deep colour and patina.
