A lovely set of 6 mid-Victorian period chairs in solid rosewood. With shaped balloon backs and elegant cabriole legs these chairs are very stylish. They are decorated throughout with carved scrolling detailing in the rococo style. The frames are in excellent order, free from all wobbles and with a good rich colour. The over-stuffed seats are perfectly serviceable although the upholstery is a little tired.
