Set of 6 Victorian mahogany balloon dining chairs
Antique quality set of 6 William IV / early Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs. Simple clean design with attractive inverted tulip carved front legs.
Date from C1830-1850.
Solid, heavy and strong with no loose joints.
Recent upholstery in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.
Overall maximum dimensions:
48cmW x 53cmD x 90cmH (45cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Just a few historic extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. Some historic structural repairs as one would expect, but all is good and strong now.
