Circa 1920, set of 6 George III style Cockpen armchairs. They have a characteristic oriental-influenced lattice back, shaped arms and each stand on shaped naturalistic supports with stretchers. This quality, rare set of chairs were possibly made by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh who specialised in this style.
