This is a set of six antique ladderback dining chairs. An English, oak rush seat set with pair of carver elbow chairs, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Good quality in English oak with a mid-tone, polished finish
Rush seat pads in good order throughout
Gently raked 'wavy line' back for comfort
Recalling designs of the late Georgian period in the Lancashire/Cheshire area of the U.K.

Complemented by feature inset rosette to rears
Raised on stout turned front legs, over a traditional hoof foot, and square section rear
