Set of 3 Victorian rosewood dining chairs balloon
Antique set of 3 Victorian rosewood dining chairs with balloon backs.
A great rare find, with an elegant design.
Solid and strong with no loose joints and no woodworm.
The upholstery is old with light wear and some minor marks (nothing bad or unsightly). Usable, but some would want to recover. Our upholsterer would recover the chairs in a customer's fabric and trim for £90 if requested.
Overall maximum dimensions
46cmW x 49cmD x 82cmH (44cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. There are some historical structural repairs (as one would expect), but all is good and strong now.
