This is a very pretty set of Victorian dining chairs in simulated rosewood with bergere caned seats. The chairs date from around 1860 and have back rails which are curved and attractively carved. The legs and understretchers are nicely turned and all of the chairs are in good sound order. All of the caning is in excellent condition. This charming set of chairs also comes with very comfy feather seat cushions in a ticking fabric and linen union floral covers for the seat cushions.
