Offered for sale is this fine quality set of four Victorian rosewood balloon back dining chairs in excellent condition and dating to about 1860. The chairs are a lovely rich mellow brown colour with the variations characteristic of rosewood and would work equally well with a mahogany, rosewood or walnut table. The set of four rosewood balloon back chairs have pierced, shaped and carved backs above recently reupholstered overstuffed seats on cabriole supports. The set of four balloon back chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats recently reupholstered in a cream John Lewis fabric. Over the past 30 years we have sold over a thousand sets of chairs along with hundreds of dining tables to satisfied customers.
