A splendid burr walnut writing desk in the Georgian style. Of serpentine form and of very good construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The top is fitted with a sumptuous black leather writing surface , surrounded by feather banding inlay. There is a series of 5 drawers , each with feather banding inlay and original brass hardware. The long central drawer is lockable, key supplied. All standing on elegant cabriole legs with carved detailing to the knees and terminating in "ball and claw" feet. Offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
