A very nice Antique, Scottish Sterling Silver Marrow Scoop made by Andrew Wilkie, Edinburgh and dating from c1825.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "AW" for Andrew Wilkie, the Scottish "thistle" sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Edinburgh "castle" town mark and date letter "t" for 1825/26. There is an engraved initial (see photo).
