A very nice Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made by Charles Murray of Perth and dating from c1820.
Charles Murray is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Perth c1816 to 1825.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "CM" (twice) for Charles Murray and the double headed eagle (twice) the Perth town mark.

The ladle has a nice crest to the terminal with the motto "Provide" above two wasps.
