A superb Samuel Withers & Co. Ltd safe in excellent antique condition, retaining its original painted finish. The deep green‑black body shows attractive, honest wear, with the original painted border and brass handle still in place. The inner door carries the firm’s “Improved Bent Steel Safe” medallion, confirming its authenticity. Inside, the safe is clean, well‑preserved, and retains its original painted surfaces. A solid and decorative piece of early security engineering — perfect for vintage, industrial, or gentleman’s‑study interiors.
