russian silver ,niello ewer with a carved coconut as the body with vaious scenes of animals ,monkey ,lion ,birds etc, the top & bottom of the ewer are connected by silver strips with inlaid turquoise cabachon stones ,this item was most likely made in georgia c 1880 ,there is wear on the handle along where the seam of silver has joined, as can be seen in the picture ,overall height is 26 cm tall
