Renaissance Style Inlaid Oak Hall Table


Circa 1860, unusual Renaissance style, inlaid oak freestanding hall table. The rectangular top is in quarter cut figured oak with double chequered inlay and a moulded edge, all over a moulded acanthus carved frieze. This is all supported on 4 Neoclassical columns on a carved platform base, with unusual baluster turned uprights over flat bun feet.
