This is a handsome mahogany chest of drawers which dates from around 1820. The chest of four long drawers has an attractive and desirable 'caddy top' and is inlaid with ebony stringing. The drawers all have their original solid brass handles and the chest has splayed bracket feet. This quality chest is in beautiful clean condition which is rare for its years, with only a few minor age related marks. The chest is a wonderful warm nut brown colour and has a really good patina. The chest of drawers has delightful neat, proportions measuring 77 cms high, 78 cms wide and 45 cms deep.
