Rare Staffordshire Royal children with dogs.

A pair of Staffordshire figures of Royal Children with dogs circa 1850.
A delightful and rare pair of ceramics, showing two of Queen Victoria's children. One of them is cuddling their dog, whilst the other is cuddling a bird whilst their dog looks on. An emotional and early method of promoting the Royal Family, prior to the use of photography.
They were probably made in the 1850's by one of the Staffordshire potteries producing better quality items, and not the usual cheaper flatbacks.
They are in very good condition considering their age. One minor hairline which can be seen on the photograph of the underneath, and one very small discolour to the nose of one child.
The bases measure 4.5 inches by 2.25 inches or 11.5 by 5.5 centimeters.
UK tracked post and packaging is £12.00.

We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases, so we offer a money back guarantee. Items must be returned within 14 days and in the same condition as sent. Please note that postage and shipping costs are non-refundable.
