Rare Paisley Scottish provincial silver tea spoon


This rare Paisley Scottish provincial silver tea spoon was made by William Hannay.
The spoon's finial has been engraved.
The spoon carries the mark for William twice, alongside an "S" mark.
William Hannay is known to have worked c1796-1814.
The spoon is in very good condition for its age, with just a few very small knocks to the bowl.
The spoon measures 14.4 cm (5.7") long, and it weighs 15g.
