Rare Paisley Scottish provincial silver tea spoon


This rare Paisley Scottish provincial silver tea spoon was made by J & G Heron.
The spoon's finial has been engraved.
The spoon carries the mark for George alongside two anchor stamps.
J & G Heron are known to have worked c1800-1810.
The spoon is in very good condition for its age, just slightly misshapen in places.
The spoon measures 14.2 cm (5.6") long, and weighs 13g.
