A rare 18th century stable or 'birdcage' adjustable candle holder of large proportions.

The adjustable candle holder sits within a frame with a shaped carrying handle to the top and above a turned wooden base. The candle holder is in a good honest untouched condition, still with remnants of wax throughout the interior and speckled to the base.
