Fine quality Japy Freres Brass Carriage Clock.
The Porcelain dial has a 2.25 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, open club hands and sub alarm dial brass, spring driven movement strikes the hour on a silvered bell with hour repeater button on the top of the case, lever & platform escapement, movement is working well.
In a heavy brass case with standing flowers on the corners, swirling barley twist borders and a double figurative handle.
Beveled glasses on 4 sides and the top.
The original Movement is signed Japy Freres & Cie. 1855 Exposition, Grande Med. D’ Honneur.
