Rare Georgian oak Welsh potboard dresser base c.1780. Seven feet in length with a well figured plank top over three drawers with mahogany crossbanded drawer fronts and elm drawer linings. With a shaped apron across the front and raised on exceptional baluster silhouette legs joined with a potboard shelf with original boards of particularly good colour and patina. Solid oak sides, crossbanded edge to the front staves and period brass handles. Excellent colour and condition having been cleaned and restored in our workshops.
