A very rare large scale vintage railway station ticket cabinet.
The paintwork is 'scrapped back' to reveal remnants of it's original British Railway brown.
Elements of it's later green paint remain.
The cabinet it strong & sound moving freely on it's brass castors.
There is an opening on the back where I believe there was once a timber holding a 'tickets' sign.
All drawers operate well, opening to their full depth. Some of the original dividers remain in situ.
All brass handles are original and operate freely.
To the front the sides show where originally the cabinet had hinged doors that would have locked the drawers in place.

The cabinet has many uses as well as being decorative.
