A fine quality queen Anne style writing desk. Of excellent construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers and mahogany drawer linings. The inverted break fronted top with sumptuous green leather insert complete with gilt tooling to the surrounds. With a pair of drawers to the freeze (lockable, key supplied) fitted with charming solid brass cherubs mask handles. All standing on elegant cabriole legs with carved detailing to the knees and terminating in hairy paw feet. This table is finished to the rear so could be free standing with a room if desired. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard and now offered for sale in excellent overall condition.
