A wonderful burr walnut sideboard in the Queen Anne style. Of good construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The serpentine shape fronted top is cross banded, has gadrooning to the edges and is surmounted with an up-stand featuring a craved central crest. There are three long central drawers flanked by a pair of cupboards. One cupboard is fitted with an internal drawer, both this drawer and the top long central drawer are compartmentalised for cutlery. The drawers and cupboards are fitted with their original brass hardware both cupboards are lockable (key supplied). The cupboard doors and the top central drawer are decorated with flowing crsiply carved floral detailing of the highest order. The whole piece stands on elegant carved cabriole legs in solid walnut, We have had this lovely sideboard sympathetically repolished to a very high standard. It is now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina. ready to go straight into the home.
