High quality antique Queen Anne style burr walnut leather top desk in very good original condition & dating from around the 1920’s period.

There is a wonderful pattern of burr walnut all over this desk, on the front, sides, back & even the insides of pedestals.

It has a three partitioned tooled leather writing surface, with good carvings around the top, on the shaped inside corner brackets & on the tops of the feet. The back is finished & polished too. There are markings on the backs of the pedestals along where the veneers meet, which I think is to do with the polishing too. The drawers are all graduated in depth. They have fine dovetails, with original brass handles & locks.
