Circa 1870. Finest quality mahogany free-standing pedestal desk. The cross banded top with rounded corners and moulded edges with a quality gilt-tooled green leather writing surface. With one long and two short frieze drawers, all with original bun knobs and ash linings, supported on banks of four graduating matching drawers with locking bars over enclosed plinth bases.
