Very good quality French Empire chest of drawers in walnut having nine graduating long drawers and a step front, pierced gilded brass gallery above a moulded top with gilded brass adornments to the underside of the moulded top and base. Fabulous gilt brass handles depicting sea creatures and with elongated classical lady pillars, the head and feet being gilded brass, standing on tapering square legs terminating in gilded brass sabots. Cleaned and waxed by ourselves using traditional methods.
