Wonderful Jobbing Printers Public Notice Auction Details for the Let of Toll Gates upon and at the sides of the Turnpike Roads from Liverpool to Prescot, Ashton and Warrington in the County of Lancaster.
The auction to take place in the New Court Room in Prescot on Tuesday the 12th day of October 1847. The Notice is dated 2nd September 1847 and issued by W Rowson, Clerk to the Trustees of the said Turnpike Roads.

There were 23 Toll Gates being auctioned. On the reverse of the poster handwritten details stating that duplicate posters were placed on the Toll Gates pre-auction date.

Printed Wood and Metal Type by J Culshaw, Printer and Stationer, Post Office, Prescot.
