Prince of Wales Feathers Child's Chair
An attractive and unusual Edwardian mahogany Adam revival child’s chair with commemorative carved Prince of Wales Feathers possibly celebrating Prince Edward’s (later Edward VIII before his abdication) investiture at Caernarvon Castle in 1911. The oval shaped back having gadrooned edge with carved shell and tied ribbons below the P.of W. Feathers.The stuff over seat retaining the original tapestry upholstery and raised on square tapering legs with spade feet. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £35. Dimensions:- Height…29’’/ 73.5cm.
