Pr. Tall Veined Alabaster Table Lamps & New Shades
We are offering for sale this superb, tall pair of Yellowy Green Veined Alabaster Table Lamps with new shades by the makers of the Downton Abbey, Mr. Selfridge, Peaky Blinders Film and TV series lampshades.
The bases are in an elongated vase shape, standing on socles, on circular plinths and are made entirely of a yellowy green veined alabaster.
The shades are in the 'Vienna' style and are made in Gold Silk Damask, gold braid, 6" vanilla fringe and have cream, gold and vanilla beaded tassels.
The lamps have been rewired in antique style pale gold silk covered braided flex and have all new fittings, including safer switched lampholders, plugs and shade carriers. As with all electrical items it is recommended that they be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Height to top of shade: 29 inches - 73.7cm
Diameter of shade: 15 1/2 inches - 39.35cm
Diameter of base: 5 1/2 inches - 14cm
Weight of base: 5kg
Condition: Extremely good. There is no damage to the bases, no chips, cracks or rubbing. The shades are new.
