A fine pair of mid-Victorian old English pattern silver asparagus tongs with pretty pierced decoration to the blades with threaded detail to the edges. Hallmarked for London 1856, makers H J Lias & Son (Henry John Lias & Henry John Lias).

They measure 26cm (10 1/4") long and 3.2cm (1 1/4") wide across the blades. They weigh 207g / 6.6ozt.

In excellent condition with no damage or repair and only minor handling wear ready for use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
