A superb pair of Antique, George III, Scottish Provincial Silver Gravy, Basting or Stuffing Spoons dating from c1800
They are marked with the maker's mark "JD" for James Douglas of Dundee. James Douglas is recorded as working in Dundee c1795-1800.
The spoons have the engraved initial "G" to the terminals.
They measure 12 1/2" inches (315mm) in length.
The weight is 229.7g/8.10oz/7.38ozt
They are in excellent condition.
