Fine looking pair of Art Deco bedside cabinets c.1925. Original well figured grey marble tops with shaped front and thumb moulded edges. Over a single drawer and small cabinet below. Burr elm veneers with satinwood crossbanding and boxwood and ebony stringing. Door fronts each with a spectacular marquetry design of a peacock, inlaid in contrasting timbers and mother of pearl. Flanked with turned columns with ormolu mounts top and bottom. Original and unusual door and drawer handles, original turned legs with brass mounts. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
